Auckland Moo Moo Part 1

You know when you were young, how you wish you were able to go New Zealand, Australia like how your neighbour kids get to go to the awesome theme parks blah blah blah...

It's just because it is an 'angmo' country and not too far like USA and nobody knows about USA. (Hahaha, back then Gossip Girls and those US drama series not so popular what)

Took a 9hours flight to Auckland. I seriously dread long hours on the plane.. Even when it's working or being 'sent' there. It SUCKS up all the moisture on your face and leave you looking dry like crisps.

We had lunch at a nearby kebab "restaurant". Food was bleh :\ Price was bleh :\ One thing about other countries' culture is that they do not have CHILLI SAUCE(like those in Sin). It's either tabasco or weird sourish "chilli sauce". NOTE: Please bring your own.

The weather was HELL COLD. The only consolation would be the hotel room! There's oven, stove, microwave, washing machine(!!) in the room. Machiam(meaning: Like) chalet! You can just cook and save on room service :) I like!

Alrighto, will blog more later on.. I'm gonna paint my new room now and pack for tmr! Later alligators!

Oven baked DUBAI

It's freaking 712am now in Sg! I'm still wide awake because I dont wanna get shock by phone calls. I'm considered safe by 12pm ;p (Aiya, not everyone of you know what I mean. Work hazzardddd)

Dubai is damn crazy hot! Not the hot-o-meter of sexiness but the weather! I can literally feel it right after my first step out of the airport. My face was like baking in the oven w/o the sun shinning on my face. Can imagine how the make up was eating into my OPEN pores man..

So we made a trip to Burj Al Arab..... the famous 6,7,8 STARS hotel...

NO, it's nothing near to what you just saw. That picture must be some artist impression. You know those they always show you at the show flat of how 'chio' the condo is and UNBLOCK by other HDB flats ....

Unfortunately enough, we were BLOCK by security. So near yet so far! So I tried to negotiate our way in with the China Intern. She agree on S$120 for the entry and a free cup of beverage! OMFG ;O

S$120 can let me open a bottle of alcohol at some sleazy club! Turned it down so we were left hanging around OUTSIDE Burj Al Arab...

Then, we took a long(actually very short but because of the weather!!) walk to the public beach to take even more miserable photos with that building. AGAIN, life time experience.. I thought I was going to faint anytime, I had no strength to even turn my head to talk t my friends. HAHA. Anyway, their bus stops have air-conditional. God-send.. god-send...... Air con........

If you ask me, would I go again? The answer is a CLEAR NO unless it's a invitation to STAY in Burj Al Arab. I will dress up sibei chio and enter the tight security and wave my hand in royalty style to that China Intern..

Tokyo Sashimi Part 2

We took a train to Shinjuku(their IN street). Nothing felt like Jackie Chan's movie "Shinjuku Incident" Everything is in bright neon colours. My eyes were set on the word SALE only.

I shopped like crazy in their 100Yen shop. Exchange rate is 100Yen = 1.60Sgd. I bought alot of junk food. Too delicious to resist. Price was attractive too what! That's my friend lugging my shopping bags. HAHA

Then we just stop by randomly to have sushi. HOPING FOR GOOD SALMON SUSHI. BUT NO. THEY LOOK LIKE OTAH. Not those cat-prints salmon. Turn-off. Their wasabi super got kick. Just need abit of those in the sushi rice, you get choke on every bite.

I didn't give up. Went to their WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL PARADISE supermarket to get the sashimi. Wah big chunk of fish only $10, some more they cut up for you! Pack in plastic bags with ice pack. Service 10/10 (supermarket leh!)

The whole trip just consist of food and more food. Nothing else. My whole cargo is full of tibits I bought from 100Yen shop. By the way, the famous "White Colour Lover" cookies I bought cost me SGD$16 a box! TASTED SO-SO imho. As well as the SGD$16 "Tokyo Banana" cakes. -.-"

I'm gonna go rest my back and wait t go back SIN t watch HARRRYYY POTTERRRR! Alrighto, till next time!

Tokyo Sashimi Part 1

I'm currently in Dubai. Weather is not as hot as it was when I was here during August. Went out the whole day & I'm NOT even sweating. WOW. Surprisingly, spent alot in their Forever21 than when I was in Sans Francisco. Ohh the irony..

Just got back from Tokyo, Haneda. Food IS(means still ongoing, no past tense) FAN-TAS-TIC. Weather mmm mmm tolerable. Shopping = because I just can't stand the fact that even some things that are MADE IN JAPAN is still more expensive than Singapore?

Trained 40mins to Shinjuku just to BLEND in and feel the Jappy's atmosphere. HUGE MISTAKE. Why?

1. Their train infrastructure is accesible BUT COMPLICATING.
2. They push and push just like those you see in movies.
3. You can't TALK in the train because it's rude. (HAHA But I just kpkb away)
4. Upon reaching the COMPLICATING & BIGGEST station Shinjuku, you feel irriated by the amount of people & the North-South-East-West exit/entrance.
5. Back to walking and walking.
6. Whatever I want, I can simply get it opposite my hotel which is 10mins walk away. (starting the first step from my room t the door step of the mall)

Nevertheless, it was still an experience and a lesson learnt. Hahaha! There's always a lesson learnt EVERY TRIP I go. I wonder why.. Alright, till next time when I'm BORED in my room again.

Gonna pack and bath and try my new clothes and put my mask and stalk on my boyf and lie on the bed and eat my chips and drink my coke and watch E! Entertainment(BEST TV SHOW EVER).
